I began with one difficult architectural interface. Each assignment widened what had to remain coherent—first geometry, then a complete package, then a shared information environment, then a workfront ready to build.

One difficult interface had to become buildable.

At L01, the challenge was not simply to draw a demanding form. Geometry, material interfaces and approvals had to become one controlled technical answer without weakening the architectural language.

NEOM Bay Airport / Aviation

One interface became a complete package under pressure.

At NEOM Bay Airport, control expanded from local geometry to a live package: model, drawings, interiors, signage, multidisciplinary review and site requirements had to advance together at accelerated speed.

At CEER, fragmented 2D IFC sources did not yet form a dependable project view. The responsibility expanded into model reconstruction, discipline federation, CDE control and building-to-campus coordination.

At Benteler, engineering, procurement and construction had to mature in parallel. The shared reference became forward-readiness control: prerequisites, evidence, owners and recovery made explicit before field need.

The recurring delivery logic became two working prototypes.

The same questions kept returning—what is true, what is blocked, what must be decided and who owns the next move—so I translated the method into working decision prototypes.

The four flagship cases explain the method in depth. Two editorial fields test how it travels.

Eight projects provide the evidence. Across different scales, stages and typologies, the emphasis changed; disciplined coordination and clear architectural information remained.

The work moves from operational passenger flow and terminal-scale systems to private aviation and tender-stage development.

Beyond aviation, the method met different sites, briefs and delivery stages.

Refurbishment, remote hospitality, cultural precincts and resort development each shifted the balance between design, coordination and technical resolution.

The constant was not a single typology or visual style.

It was the ability to read a new context, coordinate its critical interfaces and produce architectural information appropriate to its stage.

About / Mohammed Hashim Hassan

Architecture at the point where design becomes responsibility.

I work between design intent and construction execution—where drawings, models and decisions are tested by whether they support the next stage of delivery.

Since 2019, my work has expanded across royal, aviation, industrial, mixed-use and commercial projects in Saudi Arabia. Today, as a Senior Architect with the current Building Manager / Project Manager assignment for the 134,625 m² Benteler production-facility plot, I coordinate technical information, procurement readiness, site constraints and executable workfronts.

Earlier roles added Saudi Building Code compliance, BOQs, tender documentation, specifications and construction-ready drawing production. Recognition includes the Inspireli International Architecture Awards (2020) and MBL internal recognition for BIM process leadership (2023).
